Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora (Camel ride and one night in desert camp)
2 day get your desert tour from Marrakech, we’ll ascend the High Atlas Mountains and cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 m). We will see typical Berber fields and towns until we arrive at Ouarzazate, Morocco’s “Hollywood.” Stop for lunch and visit the Kasbah Taourirt before continuing on and traversing the Tizi-n-Tnifift Pass, arriving in Agdz and crossing the Dra’a Valley, which is densely forested to take in the spectacular panoramic views of the ocean of palm palms before continuing to Zagora, where the camels will be ready to begin the 1 hour journey to the desert and spend the night in a nomad haima.
Day 2 : Zagora – Marrakech
After watching the sunrise we ride the camels again, and after breakfast and take a shower, we will start the trip back to Marrakech, on the way we will visit the Berber stores of fossils, carpets, lamps, leather… We will arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon and after the visit we will continue to Marrakech.
