10 days tour from Marrakech to desert

Day 1: Welcome to Marrakech

Start the 10 days tour from Marrakech to desert and transfer to your hotel in Marrakech. Then we explore the main sights of the city of Marrakech. We will explore attractions and monuments, including Jamma el Fna square. The guided tour in Marrakech includes a visit to the mosque, the souks and the Kotubia palaces. Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Today After breakfast we leave for the High Atlas crossing the port of Tizi N’Tichka with visits and panoramic stops. Also visit the cooperative ARGAN oil where we discover the process of realization and explain the many benefits it has for the human body. Continuation to the south turning off on a track of 6 km that will take us to the village of Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit the Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO). Lunch in the village and continuation to Ouarzazate. Also considered the gateway to the great desert. Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Sahara

Today, after breakfast, time for a walk along the Dades river and discover the area. Transfer from Dades Gorges to Merzouga to the village of Tinerhir. Continuing to the Todra Gorges (the highest gorge valley). Lunch will be here.

Then we will drive in the direction of Merzouga through palm grove in Jorf. In addition, Erfoud is a small village where you can visit the market of fossils and marble, fruits … Likewise leave the best dates. Later, continue to Merzouga.

In the afternoon, has come one of the most magical moments of the trip, We leave at the hostel the suitcases and what we will not use in the desert and leave in a caravan of camels for an hour and a half that will take us to the foot of the Great Dune, tucked by the beautiful desert sunset. Dinner at the camp and night in a tent in the desert under its spectacular blanket of stars. A Berber show with drums and one of the most authentic dinners in Morocco awaits us.

Day 4: Explore the desert of Merzouga – Visit nomadic families

We wake up before dawn to watch the sunrise. Return by camel to the lodge. Shower and breakfast. We leave to go around the Erg Chebbi, an extension of sandy desert where the Great Dune of Morocco is located, over 250 meters high, connecting by track with part of the route followed by the old Paris-Dakar. Stop at the oasis of Tissardmin and continue to a nomadic settlement where we will learn some secrets of their life and customs. Subsequent stop at a panoramic point where you can see the Erg Chebbi as a whole.

Stop in Khamlia, original village of Mali, where we relax with a tea while enjoying a small concert of Gnawa music. Return to the lodge, lunch and free afternoon to climb the dunes and enjoy a romantic sunset. After dinner. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Merzouga.

Day 5: Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Midelt

You will get up early to see the beautiful sunrise and climb the dunes, then ride the camels back.
Direction Errachidia, passing through Erfoud, our next stop will be at the Oasis of Aoufous (located in the palm grove of Ziz, a panoramic view of the oasis for lovers of photography because they can enjoy the spectacle. We will also pass through Errachidia, and stop at the Hassan Adaklir Dam, which offers travelers beautiful panoramic views thanks to the contrast of its turquoise waters with the ocher-colored mountains. Our journey continues through the Middle Altas crossing the Tizi N’talghom pass at 1,907 meters. Dinner and overnight in Midelt.

Day 6: Midelt – Cedar forest of Azrou – City of Ifrane – Fez

Today we explore Midelt and then head towards Azrou, where you will have the opportunity to see the old tree (800 years old and called Cèdre Gouraud), as well as have the opportunity to see the monkeys of the Cedar forest, from here we will go to Ifran (also known as Switzerland of Morocco), located in a mountainous area at 1713 meters altitude, in its vicinity is the Ifrane National Park representative for its stone figure of the lion, one of the animals that formerly lived there. Finally we will continue our journey towards Fez and passing through Imouzar Kander, we will arrive in Fez in the afternoon, where we will transfer you to your Riad / Hotel.

Day 7: Guided tour in Fez

You will have a guided tour of Fez to visit the Fontaine Ennajarine, also the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, and the Qarawiyyin Mosque. This sightseeing tour will include a visit to the tannery and the pottery cooperative to see traditional Moroccan handicrafts. You can spend the afternoon exploring the fascinating medina before dinner at a local restaurant. We spend another night in Fez in a riad / hotel.

Day 8: Fez – Chefchaouen (The blue pearl)

Today we drive from Fez to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. We explore the medina in Chefchaouen and stay here in a local hotel with dinner.

Day 9: Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca

Later today we drive to Rabat, the capital, to explore the main sights and attractions of the city. We then continue on to Morocco’s largest city, Casablanca, where we will spend the night.

Day 10: Casablanca – Marrakech

Today we visit the main attractions and monuments of Casablanca, including the Hassan II Mosque. Then we head to Marrakech, where your 10-day trip from Marrakech ends. End of the 10 days trip from Marrakech. End of our services.
