Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez
6 Days Get Your Desert Tours from Casablanca to Marrakech.We will visit the “Hassan II Mosque” after being picked up at Casablanca’s airport. We will tour the city’s main attractions before continuing on to Fes. We’ll be staying at a hotel or riad.
Day 2: Guided tour of Fez.
This will be a memorable day as we explore Fes, the cultural and religious capital where you will hear the Salat. It is also the country’s oldest Imperial City, having been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The structure in which this city was built will make you feel lost in its streets. We’ll be staying at a hotel or riad.
Day 3: Fez – Azrou – Mildelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
Breakfast and departure for the Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll go to Ifrane, Morocco’s so-called “Switzerland.” We will proceed via the town of “Azrou” and stop to observe the monkeys climbing the trees in the Cedar forest. After there, we’ll continue on our journey across the breathtaking Middle Atlas Mountains.
We will meet the Ziz River and stop to take amazing pictures of panoramic views over the Gorges of the river. Then, we will go to the city of Erfoud known for its fossils where the rocks with their minerals are extracted. Then, we will reach the magnificent dunes of Merzouga – Erg Chebbi. There, we will appreciate the peace of the desert. In the afternoon, we will contemplate the beauty of the sun that hides behind the dunes, to get to see a beautiful starry sky. Dinner and overnight in tents, typical of the desert.
Day 4: Merzouga desert
After breakfast, we will have a wonderful tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes, an extension of the desert where the Great Dune of Morocco, over 300 meters high, is located. Then we’ll take one of the routes utilized in the Rally Paris-Dakar. We’ll view the highlands that border Algeria and halt at the Tissardmin oasis. We will arrive in a nomadic village and learn about their traditional practices. Then we’ll stop at a vantage point to see the Erg Chebbi. We will visit the village of “Khamlia”, Mali’s indigenous people, and relax with a cup of tea while listening to their unique Gnawa music.

Following that, at 17hs, we will return to the lodge to swap the automobile for the animal traction. The camels will transport us to Jaimas’ tent. We’ll stop along the road to take in a spectacular sunset before arriving at the camp. We will view a starry sky with shooting stars at night, where we will eat dinner and stay in nomad tents.
Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
This morning, we’ll get up early to witness the dawn over the sands before riding camels back to the resort for breakfast and a shower. Following that, we will go to Rissani, Morocco’s first imperial city, and explore its traditional market. Then we’ll proceed to Jorf’s palm grove, which is located on the right bank of the Ued Ziz. Then we’ll drive past Touroug’s Ksar, which is encircled by wonderful oasis. We’ll stop for lunch in Tinejdad before heading to the famed Todra Gorges to take in the scenery. Following that, we will go to Tinerhir and the lovely Dades Valley. Dinner and sleeping at the motel.
Day 6: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazatte – Ait Ben Haddou Marrakech
Breakfast and then the High Atlas Mountains surrounded us on the route by the Tizin Tichka pass. There, we’ll see the Film Studios before heading to the walled town of Ait Ben Haddou, where we’ll see the famed Kasbah. Several films, including Gladiator, Babel, Obelix and Sahara, and Jewel of the Nile, have been shot here. Then we’ll travel to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains, where we’ll stop to visit the Argan oil cooperative. We will arrive in Marrakech in the evening and stay at the hotel for supper and the night.
