3 Days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi -N-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
3 Days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, Marrakech to the Dades Valley via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass in the Atlas Mountains, with beautiful mountain vistas. Passing through classic High Atlas Berber settlements. Continue to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, have lunch in Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate, where you can visit the Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Studies, and then continue to the Dades Gorges, passing through Roses, and spend the night in a riad/hotel in the Dades valley.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Tenghir – Todra Gorge – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga (Night In The Desert)
After breakfast, we will travel from Dades to the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga. We will pass through the Todra Gorge, Tenhir, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where we will begin to feel the Sahara oasis of Tafilalet, before continuing to Merzouga, where you can pick up some of your luggage (enough for one night in the desert) and leave the rest at the hotel. We will begin the journey riding camels across the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
There will be a chance to capture stunning images of the sun setting and dawn. We’ll leave the camels when we get to the campground and head to the tallest dune, which is perfect for sand surfing and sunset viewing. In the center of the Sahara, we will spend one night in the Berber tents and listen to drum music.
Day 3: Daraa Valley – Alnif – Merzouga – and Return to Marrakech
After breakfast and a shower at the hotel, we will begin the journey back to Marrakech, passing through several regions and Berber villages (Alnif, Tazarine, and N’kob) to Ouarzazate, where we will take the same road to Marrakech and arrive in the afternoon or evening. We will wake you up early in the morning to witness the sunrise over the dunes, after which we will ride the camels back to Merzouga.
