Day 1: CASABLANCA – RABAT – FEZ
4 Days Morocco Desert Tours from Casablanca. We will pick you up at your hotel in Casablanca or at the airport at the time of your flight’s arrival, then we will visit the Hassan II Mosque and have a brief tour around Morocco’s economic center.
Then we’ll go to Fez, the cultural capital and the oldest of the country’s four imperial cities, which served as the cultural and religious hub of the Western Islamic world for centuries and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay at a hotel or riad.
Day 2 : FES – IFRAN- MIDELT – MERZOUGA
Breakfast and departure for Ifrane, Morocco’s “Switzerland.” The next settlement will be Azrou, where we will stop to see the Cedar Forest. Then we’ll keep on and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains.
We’ll keep going till we reach Errachidia. When you arrive in Erfoud, you will ride a camel to the desert camp in the center of the dunes, where you will spend the night, enjoy your evening, eat supper under the stars, and sleep in a nomad tent. Tents with supper and breakfast.
Day 3 : MERZOUGA – RISSANI – ERFOUD – TODRA – DADES
After breakfast, we return to the hamlet on camels and go to the desert via the old desert city of Rissani, passing via Tinjdad and Tinghir. We will stroll along the river at the Todra Gorges. Today we will travel to Boulemane Dades to see the gorges. at Dades, spend the night at a local hotel/riad.
Day 4 : DADES GORGES – AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH
Today we travel via Kalaa Magouna and the Kasbah Road of Thousands. Then we travel to Skoura to see Kasbah Ameridil. Then we proceed to Ouarzazate. We’ll go to a small film studio and then to the adjacent Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where several renowned films were shot (The Mummy, Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia). Continue our drive across the High Atlas Mountains after lunch in a little restaurant overlooking the Kasbah. We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon. We have completed our mission.
