5 Days in Morocco Tangier to Marrakech
Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
5 Days in Morocco Tangier to Marrakech. We’ll meet at the airport, hotel, or port and head to Xauen, a little blue fortress town. It’s one of the most picturesque settlements in the Rif Mountains, with blue and white painted homes. You’ll have free time to spend alone exploring Chefchaouen. Spend the night in a traditional Medina riad.
Day 2: Chefchouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Following breakfast, we proceed to the Volubilis archeological site, where you may see the well-known Roman remains. After that, we travel to Meknes to see the imperial city’s most intriguing structures. We will arrive in Fes later in the afternoon and stay the night in a traditional riad.
Day 3: Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga
Following breakfast, we’ll take a car from Fes to Ifrane, a stunning alpine town that’s sometimes referred to as Morocco’s Switzerland because of its rooftops. We carry on to Azrou, a Berber town situated in Morocco’s largest cedar forest. Next, we pass via Midelt, a town well-known for its apples and minerals. After passing through the Ziz Valley, we shall go to Erfoud and its fossil products. After that, we carry on with our journey into the desert, where we will swap our automobile for camels and spend a memorable night there.
Day 4: Merzouga desert – Todra Gorges – The Dades Gorges
We will watch the dawn from the top of the dune early in the morning before continuing on our camel ride to our accommodation in Merzouga. We go to Erfoud and Rissani (tafilalet) after eating breakfast and taking a hot shower, where we may see the fossil marble plant and shops. After passing Tinjdad and Tinghir, the Todra Gorge will be our next stop. You will have free time to explore this climber’s paradise on your own. Following our tour of the gorges, we drive on to the Dades Valley, where we will stay the night in a small riad or hotel and have supper.
Day 5: The Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
We will be traveling to Marrakech Ouarzazate today to explore the local kasbah and film studios. We carry on toward Ait Ben Haddou in order to see its renowned fortress and settlement. Here were filmed a number of well-known films, including Alladino and Babel Gladiator. After that, we go on driving across the 2260-meter-high Tizi n Tichka mountain pass, which is part of the High Atlas Mountains. We will conclude our services by dropping you off at your hotel or the airport when we get to Marrakech.
