5 days Tour Agadir to Merzouga
Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Kasbah ait ben haddou
Following breakfast 5 Days Tour Agadir to Merzouga, we depart from Agadir and travel to Taroudant, one of Morocco’s oldest cities, which is situated in the plain of Souss between the High Atlas and Anti Atlas mountains. From there, we travel to Taliouine, the capital of saffron, which is located at an elevation of 1586 meters.
We follow the route to Tazenakht and Ouarzazate, which passes between the stunningly colored mountains of the High Atlas and Anti Atlas. We will eat lunch at a traditional restaurant on the way to the fortified kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will explore its renowned kasbah that has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the journey, we will stop numerous times to photograph stunning pictures.
This breathtaking location has served as the backdrop for several well-known films, including Gladiator, Obelix, Sahara starring Penelope, Cruz… evening at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou After dinner and spending the night at the hotel, we start the second day of the tour by heading out into the desert.
Day 2: Kasbah ait ben haddou – Ouarzazate – Anti Atlas – Draa Valley – Merzouga
Following breakfast, we will go to Ouarzazate, popularly known as the “city of cinema,” which is regarded as the major entry point to the desert. traversing the 1,600-meter-high Tizi n Tinifift gate to enter the Anti Atlas Mountains. As we go along a route into the Draa Valley, which is filled with palm trees and stunning landscape, we will pass by various Berber communities and kasbahs.
We’ll pass via the villages of N’KOB, TAZARINE, and AlNIF before continuing on to Rissani. We will reach the old commercial center and first imperial city of Morocco, Rissani, with its numerous Ksours, walled citadels, spacious souk beneath the red arches, and numerous Ksours. From there, we proceed to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Reaching the hotel situated at the base of the dunes, where we shall have a tea of hospitality and have a brief nap. After that, you may unwind and take in this gorgeous view while strolling around Erg Chebbi’s fine sand beach. You will sample a delectable Berber cuisine in the evening. The hotel for dinner and the night.
Day 3: Tour around Erg Chebbi
Following breakfast and a shower, we depart the hotel and begin our tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes, a desert area with golden sand dunes. We also get to know the area around the village of Merzouga and its palm grove, where we will dance to the traditional spiritual music of the Khamlia people, who were originally from Sudan and were formerly slaves. This area has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After eating the traditional Berber pizza, we will, depending on the weather, swap out the 4×4 for the “8×8” dromedaries in the afternoon and ride them across the Erg ChebbiŇ desert’s dunes for about an hour and a half of walking. We’ll be able to witness the stunning sunset and the contrast, you will sleep in a nomad tent in the middle of the desert beneath the breathtakingly vast sky full of stars accompanied by the silence of the desert (An unforgettable night.!!!). We will arrive at the camp located in the desert, enjoy the calm of the dunes, and taste an authentic Berber dinner while listening to the music of the drums.
Day 4: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate
Get up early to witness the stunning dawn and ascend the sand dunes. Afterward, take a camel ride back to the hotel for breakfast. After arriving in Erfoud, we’ll go on to the Todra Gorges. brimming with magnificent scenery and palm plants. We will go to Boumalne Dades Village, where we will spend the night in the center of the Dades Valley, prior to visiting the Tora Gorges. At the riad for dinner and the night.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Tazenakht – Taroudant – Agadir
Following breakfast, we will depart Ouarzazate in the direction of Tazenakht and go to Taroudant, also referred to as the “little Marrakech.” Following a lunch break, we will travel through the province of Taroudant, always with the Atlas Mountains as a backdrop. In the late afternoon, we will drop you off at your hotel in Agadir, marking the conclusion of our services.
